The 74th Annual AANO Convention
Philadelphia
August 5th - 7th, 2022
In 2019, we celebrated our 73rd Convention in Chicago, Illinois. It was a great experience and a huge success! With Covid-19 we could not repeat and celebrate the 74th until we felt sure it was safe to move ahead. This coming August 5, 6, and 7th, 2022 we are able to finally announce that we are holding the Convention in Philadelphia at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue.
Our Conventions prospered because our mission is to spread pride in our Albanian roots and invest in the future of our youth. Our main goals are to preserve our heritage, culture and language and to promote the further education of our youth through our Scholarship Fund. By supporting these goals, we are enriching and perpetuating the future of our Albanian communities here in the United States.
Your generosity supports the Annual events, Scholarship Fund, our National Publication, the Trumbeta, National Meetings, and our Board.

John Lulgjuraj 1951 - 2021
It is with a very sad, heavy heart that the AANO, INC. has lost John Lulgjuraj, one of our truly great Presidents.
John passed away on, August 11, 2021 in Florida. As Vice President, I speak on behalf of all the AANO, INC. that in our hearts we will remember a man who gave us strength in purpose, direction and pride in our heritage, joy in serving together, great memories and lasting smiles on our AANO journey. The entire AANO National Officers Board of Governors, and AANO Committee Chair people shall remember John Lulgjuraj in all of our tomorrows with love. Our prayers go out to his wife, Shpresa, his children and the entire Lulgjuraj family.
Respectfully,
National Officers and Chapter Board of Governor
